Terms of Usage for School of Devops
Welcome to School of Devops, a learning platform is owned by INITCRON SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our learning management platform, including self-paced courses, bootcamps, live sessions, and any other services we offer. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions

- Platform: Refers to the School of Devops website and any associated services or content provided, including but not limited to self-paced courses, bootcamps, live sessions, and forums.

- User: Any individual who accesses or uses the platform.

- Plans: Refers to the different subscription or enrollment packages available to users, which may offer varying levels of access to content and live sessions.
2. Eligibility

- Users must be 18 years or older to register or access the platform. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet the age requirement and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.

- Accounts are non-transferable, and access is strictly limited to the registered individual.
3. Account Registration and Security

- To access certain features of the platform, including paid content and live sessions, you may be required to register for an account.

- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and update such information to maintain its accuracy.

- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including passwords, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Plans and Payment

- School of Devops offers various plans providing access to different levels of content, courses, bootcamps, and live sessions. These plans are subject to fees, which may be one-time or recurring, subscription-based, depending on the plan you choose.

- Payment must be made in full before access is granted to paid content. Plans are billed on a recurring basis (where applicable) until canceled by the user or by School of Devops.

- We reserve the right to modify plan fees at any time, and users will be informed of such changes. However, ongoing subscriptions will retain their current rates until the next renewal period.
5. Content Access and Usage

- Upon enrollment in a course or bootcamp, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to access the course materials for personal, non-commercial use only.

- Self-paced courses/bootcamps and live sessions are intended for personal learning. Sharing access to content or redistributing materials is strictly prohibited.

- Access to certain content, including live sessions, is plan-dependent. Not all users may have access to all courses, bootcamps, or live sessions.

- Any misuse of content, including unauthorized sharing, may result in account suspension or termination.
6. Lifetime Access
- Lifetime access is provided strictly for self-paced courses available on the platform and does not apply to live sessions or other features.
- The Term Lifetime is with the reference to lifetime of the product, which typically in the context of courses is 5 Years.

- If School of Devops decides to take down the platform in the future, we will provide course content either in downloadable format or grant access to it on an alternate platform.

- Users will be notified in advance if such changes occur, and all reasonable efforts will be made to ensure continued access to paid content.
7. Live Sessions

- Live sessions are available to users depending on the specific plan they have enrolled in. Not all plans provide access to all live sessions.

- School of Devops reserves the right to modify or discontinue live sessions at any time, with or without notice.

- Disruptive behavior during live sessions may result in removal from the session or suspension of account privileges.
8. Support Policy

- Support for users is provided strictly over community-based chat platforms such as Discord, Slack, or their equivalents. This support is limited to interaction with fellow members and students in the community.

- School of Devops does not provide direct 1-on-1 support unless arranged separately and subject to an additional charge.

- Users may be granted access to WhatsApp groups for community engagement, but direct 1-on-1 messaging or reaching out to trainers/mentors outside of scheduled sessions is strictly prohibited.

- Any violation of this policy may result in removal from the group and potential suspension of platform access. Users seeking 1-on-1 support or coaching can avail of these services at a cost.
9. Refunds and Cancellations

- School of Devops offers a refund policy for certain plans and courses, as outlined in our refund policy, which can be found here https://campus.schoolofdevops.com/refund_policy

- Users are responsible for managing their subscription plans, including cancellations. Failure to cancel before the renewal date may result in automatic charges for the next subscription period.

- Refunds will not be issued for plans or courses that have been accessed or partially completed, nor for plans where live sessions are modified or discontinued.
10. Intellectual Property

- All content provided on the platform, including videos, course materials, text, images, and logos, are the intellectual property of School of Devops and its licensors. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of this content is strictly prohibited.

- Users may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our content unless explicitly permitted by written agreement.
11. Code of Conduct

- All users are expected to adhere to respectful behavior when engaging in any part of the platform, including live sessions, discussion forums, and comments.

- Discriminatory, offensive, or harmful language and actions are not tolerated. Any violation of this code of conduct may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
12. Termination of Services

- School of Devops reserves the right to suspend or terminate a user’s access to the platform at any time for violation of these Terms, including misuse of content, failure to pay fees, or violation of the code of conduct.

- In the event of termination, no refunds will be issued for the remaining period of any paid plan.
13. Discontinuation of Services

- School of Devops reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or suspend any aspect of the platform, including courses, bootcamps, or live sessions, at any time, without prior notice.

- If services are discontinued, users will retain access to already purchased self-paced courses or other available materials as per the terms of their plan, but no new services will be offered after discontinuation.
14. Limitation of Liability

- School of Devops will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of the platform, including but not limited to the loss of data or inability to access content.

- We do not guarantee the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. You agree that your use of the platform is at your sole risk.
15. Indemnification

- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless INITCRON SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED its affiliates, employees, and licensors from any claims, damages, liabilities, and costs arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.
16. Governing Law

- These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Any disputes arising under these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore.
17. Changes to Terms and Conditions

- We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Any modifications will be communicated through the platform or via email. Continued use of the platform following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
